Dick Sakahara's innate sense of design, coupled with his lifelong
passion for living creatures and a penchant for "photo-hunting"
big game around the world, has developed into an ability to design/illustrate
mascots and creatures like very few others anywhere in the world.
With a career that spans over 25 years, he has been asked to create
the mascot logos for the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks,
and has produced logos for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs
and numerous collegiate teams. Dick's credits also include work
for Disneyland and Disney Products, American, Delta and Northwest
Airlines, Miller and Anheuser Busch Brewing Companies, Reebok,
RJ Reynolds, American Express, Milton Bradley Toys, Kikkoman Foods,
The San Diego Zoo and Singapore Zoos and a multitude of LA-area
companies, where he lives with his wife, Arleen.
